Getting To Know Each Other.
Visiting a new church can be an intimidating experience. Rest assured, we have put things in place to make your visit a pleasant one. Our church is known to be very friendly, but not overwhelming. We are a multi-cultural and multigenerational church located in East Los Angeles. We have a variety of programs to minister to the entire family like, RLA Kids (ages 1.5 - 11) and Rise Up Youth (ages 12 - 18). We will do all we can to help make every member of the family feel at home. Please don’t forget to fill out a visitors card when you visit to help us stay connected with you.

Sundays at 10am.
We welcome all visitors and families to join us IN PERSON and ONLINE Sunday mornings at 10am. Our goal in this season is to keep you connected to JESUS and His church. Jesus is always the main focus of our gatherings. We are privileged to partner with you in person or in your homes during these trying times. Stay encouraged…
Sundays at 9:15am.
Prayer is the most powerful things we can do as a church, ESPECIALLY in this season. Thursday evenings are our opportunity to do just that. Please join us as we encourage ourselves in the Lord and encourage each other through the power of prayer. This service takes place in person.

What Should I Wear?
We like to say that RLA is casual and contemporary church. We care more about you than what you wear, so whether it’s jeans or slacks, dress how you are most comfortable
What is an RLA Worship Gathering Like?
In total, our service is about 90 minutes in length. Services begin with a time of worship - song lyrics are projected onto the screens so you can sing along and/or engage with worship however you feel most comfortable. Our Worship music is of a contemporary style to the likes of Bethel, Elevation, Jesus Culture and Hillsong. You will find our time of Worship to be very uplifting, engaging and Spirit-led.
What about your Messages?
After the music portion of service is complete, our pastor will come out to share a truth-filled message centered on Jesus. Our goal every Sunday is to teach the timeless truths of the Bible in a way that is engaging and applicable to your life. You will find that the messages are practical, easy to understand, and grounded in Scripture. Check out our archive of past messages here on the website.
What about my kids?
We believe everyone can have an authentic relationship with Jesus. Matthew 19:14 says “Let the children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these”. At RLA we make this a priority. The other thing we make a priority is your children’s safety. Because of that, we have a detailed check-in process for our RLA Kids program. You will want to give yourself some extra time to get signed in for the RLA Kids the first time you visit. RLA Kids is offered at every service for children ages 5 through 11. Is the neighborhood and parking safe?
Absolutely! Like most inner city communities, East Los Angeles has historically carried a reputation, but we’d encourage you to come see what Jesus is doing in East L.A. It truly is something special.
Parking can be a small challenge as we are land locked in a residential community. Our parking lot is on the west side of our building and is available on a first come first serve basis. Parking on Beverly Blvd. just north of the church is always available for those willing to walk less than 1/2 a block.

RiseUp Youth Ministry is a Jr High & High School Ministry. It is very relationally driven as we believe connection is especially important for teens.
